Yuki Matsuri: Finally, the snow!

Finally, we got to fulfill our ostensible purpose in visiting Sapporo! Here's a selection of the awe-inspiring work on display: The popular golfer, Aiko-chan, with anime-sized head; Taiwan's offering, complete with giant buddha, peace memorial arch, the same tower I was at for New Year and the weird teapot-head family; A well-lit peacock in the nightclub district; A dragon, in the same area; Australia's offering (some railway station); Other stuff, including two cute kids and the amazing Tottoro!

Well worth the trip, as always.

Good pics. We'll have to do a photo swap sometime.

Well, most of the best of mine are freely available right here, as unlike some others I don't use the evil copyrighted Kodak album thing...

Cool pics, ben - especially like the dragon.

Hey hey, long time no comment CanCanJun! How's it hanging?

No bad, Benster - I try to pop in to your blog on a vaguely regular basis to keep up with what you're doing (especially as pretty pictures tend to be rather more evocative than group emails :D). Not to mention I remain wildly jealous of your Japaneseness. :P

I'm still PhDing/KPMGing...and actually had an email from James recently! That was a shock; apparently, Andy Smith has kept in contact with him (you too? Might just be me that fell out of the loop), and he is now sporting a ginger beard. Been trying to arrange a meet for old ZSKers, but only about 3 takers so far.

Is there a way of getting email alerts when someone replies to a comment on this thing?

James hasn't ever made an effort in his life to stay in touch with anyone, as far as I know, and I'm not much better. So, uh, nope, don't know what's going on with him.

As for e-mail alerts, I get them, don't think you will.
